Berlinale pick 'Pig' home released

Berlinale pick 'Pig' has received credit to be released on domestic market of home entertainment.

‘Pig’, written and directed by Mani Haqiqi, will be distributed across the country on March 2, 2019 by Tasvir Gostar Pasargad Institute .

‘Pig’ depicts the story of Hassan, a filmmaker who has not been able to make any films lately, but his admired starlet can’t wait any longer and wants to leave and work with another director.

The film features big stars such as Hassan Majouni, Leila Hatami, Leili Rashidi, Parinaz Izadyar and Ali Baqeri.

Noteworthy among the international festivals hosted ‘Pig’ is the 68th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) in Germany.

The 66th Melbourne Int’l Film Festival, 41st Denver Film Festival in Canada and 8th “On the Edge” Int’l Film Festival in Russia are three other festivals where ‘Pig’ made a global appearance.
